Default settings
The default settings apply to each new sticky when created. You can change these through the Options window, available on the main StickyNote menu. The first three tabs, Note, Font and Style, contain default note attributes. You can select size, color, font size, style, color and typeface options from these three pages.
These settings apply in an analogous way to those of the note properties dialogs. For more information on each of these settings, see:

In addition to these changes, you can set a note's color to "Random." If this setting is selected, the notes you create will have color randomly selected from your color database.
You can set your default settings to those of a particular note using the Use as default command from the note's menu.
When you’re done making your changes, click "OK". All notes created from this point on will display the characteristics you have specified.
