Under NT/2000/XP/2003 you can uninstall
FileRescue from the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
window. Activate the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs,
and double-click on the "FileRescue" list box entry.
Technical details:
The "Uninstall FileRescue" procedure
performs the following steps:
Verify it is safe to uninstall
Delete files in FileRescue folder if they were installed by this version
of FileRescue and if the file's date/time stamp matches FileRescuePro.exe
Remove the FileRescue icons and program group
Remove the FileRescue entries from the registration database
Manual procedure:
1. Exit FileRescue
2. Delete the folder “C:\Program Files\FileRescue” or the folder where
you have installed FileRescue
3. Remove the registry key “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Object Rescue\FileRescueNTFS”
for all users
