It defines the maximum number of simultaneous requests to WHOIS or HTTP servers that the program can make at a time.
Recommended value: 5-10 for dial-up, 10-20 for faster Internet.

The higher the number, the faster the program will work. But if you use dial-up connection to the Internet and need to retrieve domain information from Registrar WHOIS or check Link Popularity, high values are not recommended.
