Q1 I chose Control - Record Control in the menu, but Record Control does not launch.
A1 Windows Volume Control software may not be installed on your PC. Once you install Windows Volume Control, and MySoundStudio will be able to call it from within the program.

    * To install Windows Volume Control:
    • Press Start button on the Windows task bar. Choose Settings - Control Panel and open the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel.
    • Click the Windows Setup tab, select Multimedia and click the Details button.
    • In the Multimedia dialog box that appears, check Volume Control and click OK button to install Volume Control.


Q2 When I choose Control - Record Control in the menu, the Play Control window opens instead of the Record Control window.
A2 This problem occurs if you are using earlier version of Windows Volume Control. In this case, choose Options - Properties in the Play Control window and select the Record button.


Q3 MySoundStudio Help does not launch.
A3 The online Help available in MySoundStudio are created in HTML format, which requires the browser to access. We recommend you to use Internet Explorer version 4 or later or Netscape version 3 or later to display the online Help.


Q4 While working in MySoundStudio application, the online Help has become no longer accessible.
A4 If you are working with the data directly from CD-ROM or other removable media and try to open the online Help with that media ejected, the help will not open. In this case, you need to exit MySoundStudio and restart MySoundStudio before you can access the online help.
