General introduction

JIT Scheduler is the task scheduler for MS Windows® 95/98/Me/NT 4/2000./XP It was created by Igor V. Polyakoff. Scheduler provides an easy way to create and launch tasks in specified day and time. JIT supports 4 types of tasks: Application, Document, System Shut Down or just Message (Remind). This means that you can open document (e.g. picture, text or Web - page link etc.) as well as launch an application (.exe). This software consists of 3 components :

System Scheduler SCHEDNT.EXE

This is the small program, which performs actual task launching. It usually starts at System startup. System Scheduler executes System tasks.

User Scheduler SCHED.EXE

This program executes User tasks. It works when corresponding user is logged in system.

Terminal JIT.EXE

It is the Scheduler configuring tool, it presents the list of user's tasks. You can create and edit tasks. It also provides the ability to edit program settings.

Process Killer KILL.EXE

This small program terminates processes (running applications).

License agreement

This License Agreement (later Agreement) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Igor V. Polyakoff as an Author and Gibin Software House company for the software product - JIT Scheduler (later Software Product). By obtaining, using, and copying this Software Product, you agree that you have read, understood, and will comply with the following terms and conditions.

The Software Product is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The Software Product is licensed, not sold.

The Software Product is being provided as shareware with 30-days trial period. You have the right to use it during 30 days free of charge. After 30 days you must register and pay money or stop using the Software Product. You must register single copy of Software Product for personal use or register one copy of Software Product per each computer, where you are going to use the Software Product corporatively. "Personal use" means, that the Software Product is used by one person on one or more computers. "Corporative use" means, that the Software Product is used by several persons on a computer. In this case you must register one copy of Software Product per each computer, where the Software Product is installed on local drive or available over an internal network. You can also receive unlimited license for unlimited usage at a single site.

This Agreement grants Registered User the following limited, non-exclusive rights: The right to install and use the listed in license number of copies of Software Product. The right to receive technical support.

Without prejudice to any other rights, Author may terminate this Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the Software Product and all of its component parts.

All title and copyrights in and to the Software Product and any copies of the Software Product are owned by their Author, Igor V. Polyakoff. The Software Product is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the Software Product like any other copyrighted material except that you may install the Software Product on a licensed number of computers provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You are not allowed to modify the Software Product, perform disassembling of any kind, distribute registration information and key. You are encouraged to distribute the original, unmodified and integral package freely, in any form and on any media, provided you don't charge any fee for the Software Product.

Author doesn't provide warranty for the software.
