Document operations

It is possible to specify an operation for document. System Registry contains associations between registered file types (documents - Pictures, Text Documents etc.) and programs, which open those files. It is possible to perform several operations with file. You can see available operations in context menu invoked by right mouse button click.

Document operations in the context menuOn this picture you can see such operations : "Open", "Edit", "Print". "Open" is the default action. When JIT Scheduler opens document it performs the default operation - "Open". User can specify a different operation. Operation can be typed in "Command" property before the file name and separated by | - character (ACSII 124).

Examples :

edit|D:\PIC\picture.bmp
     print|D:\TEXT\secret.txt

Note, NOT ALL of operations in context menu can be used in JIT Scheduler. You can see the list of available operations in "File types". Open Windows Explorer and open menu item : "View"/ "Options"/ "File types"/ "Edit"/ "Actions".

You can test if the specified command is correct. Select "Run" command to test it.
