About NetBIOS Communications

NetBIOS (Network Basic Input/Output System) is a basic network protocol for sharing files and printers over a network. NetBIOS is supported by IBM (IBM PC LAN), Novell NetWare, Microsoft Windows for Workgroups networks and networks of other companies.
