      DIRECTIVE:  {$D.}

      DEFAULT STATE:  D+

      DIRECTIVE RANGE:  Global

      COMMENTS: This directive turns on or off the inclusion of debug
                 information into the compiled files. Debug information
                 consists of a unique set of line numbering information
                 for each procedure and function. This allows the
                 TMAP program to generate accurate debug and .MAP files
                 for use with symbolic debuggers.
                 Turning debug information on will greatly increase the
                 size of the resulting compiled files, therefore,the entire
                 program should be recompiled after it has been thourghly
                 debugged to provide the most compact .EXE file available.
