Isn't there a slight irony in claiming to detest seniority cultures
and endorsing the one you work for...?

And unions were set up to preserve the rights of the workers with
regard to institutional abuse. Sounds familiar in the current
context...

And the good people who set this up showed a lot more initiative
than McD's, who realized rather late that they didn't have a
web site...

If what you're saying is true, then the date must be 2000 at least.
The rest of us are living in 1996, so excuse our ignorance.
Did The McLibel Two win their case?.
I wouldn't encourage people not to work hard, but I would encourage them
not to compromise their conscience. And would you say that the directors
of McD's work any "harder" than the poor saps in the sweatshops?. Or
would you just judge their success by the fact that they take much more
of the overall profit home?.

Myself not included. And I'm certainly not lazy.
Not to mention that you probably think of as "lazy" people
who have made the perfectly reasonable decision to opt out
of this sick system. I personally don't have the courage
to, but I respect the decision of those who do - it takes
a lot more courage to confront than conform.

The fumes! The fumes! - the fat drip rotted his brain...

Maybe you could offer health insurance for customers, too. Or maybe even
psychoanalysis...

It might also be worth mentioning that one of the major components of
the infamous Los Angeles smog is floating grease from the 9 million
tons of burgers consumed daily there...

I'm _not_ interested. And I doubt anyone else on this site is.

Yee-Haw! and Gawd bless Amerka!
It must be one of the few countries in the world where stupidity is a
dominant gene...
