: I Worked for Mcd's for 10 yrs. As the years went by I saw some really
: drastic changes. No longer do they take care of the Employee's. It is
: so much a political rat race with Corp. Corp squeezes the Owner/opera.
: into unfair positions. My last position held was a Store Mgr and I would
: never go back. I do not blame my owner's, I blame corp. They need to
: Focus on the employee's more. To satisfy the customer you must have happy
: internal customers--the crew and Mgmt. If they are not happy then how
: can you expect them to be happy and pleasant to customer's coming in the
: door to be served. Corp needs to revamp the entire system and start
: back with the basic's.

The franchise owners here and abroad need to get together, and meet with
the Corporate execs. They need to push hard for voting rights on policy matters,
and they need to be point blank with these guys about all of their grievances.
The suppliers that McD's contracts with also need to come to this meeting.
The owners need to negotiate better payment terms, and fair prices for the
supplies. They also need to negotiate fair royalty terms with Oak Brook.
Perhaps they will be able to afford to pay their help better wages, while
still attaining good solvency. There is strength in numbers. The owners have
the corporation by the balls. They need to start acting like winners, instead
of being defeatists.
