Unions

Simply put, United you'll stand, divided you'll fall. Although I'm not at all familiar with workers right's on the other side of the drink, I do know that here in the United States any worker has a right to join a union.
The wages and working conditions in a McDonalds will probably NEVER improve until workers learn to UNITE, a necessary action if unions are to secceed in their never-ending fight to improve the lives of the middle-class. At
no time has greed ever reared its ugly head as in the past few years in USA. CEO's and business owners have seen exponential growth in their salaries, while us working stiffs have seen, for the first time in a long time,
our wages go down. USA is also at a historic low in union membership. Coincidence? I don't think so. And further, our schools are not teaching students anything about workers rights, so the atypical McDonalds employee,
(or any fast-food employee) 16-18 years old, is grossly uneducated in the matter. To add insult to injury... the media here (owned by corprate america) brodcast only the "bad union news", failing to mention the good unions
accomplish in everyone's life every day. Kudos to this website... I was not at all aware any of this was ocurring. I have always steered clear of the place, having had a couple of buddies who worked there in High School. Now
I have even more reason to.
