I can't help but feel sorry for you for havind such a distorted
definition of work ethics and narrow view of job satisfaction.
Given this, who can blame you for enjoying your job at McD.
The only question is why you don't want to make a career out
of it if it is so good.

As for those employees who criticise McD's style of staff control
and management, you should not put their criticism down to their
negative attitude but rather to their broader and more ambitious
view of human dignity.

Jacobs comments are very similar to to McDonald's line regarding
staff attitude - 'if you critise the company, your face doesn't fit -
if you face doesn't fit, you are encouraged to leave'.

These are issue currently being discussed in the closing speeches
in the McLibel trial. Anyone interested may like to examine the
daily reports for days 301, 302 and 303 when they become available
on the site.
