Guard Dog 2
Free full version of
McAfee Guard Dog 2, exclusive to readers of PC World. Valued at $59.95,
Guard Dog 2 is a combined secuity, privacy and antivirus program.
It will check incoming e-mail, files and downloads for viruses while
building a a firewall around your PC to protect it from Internet intruders.
Guard Dog can monitor programs and applets for suspicious behavior
and stop unwanted cookies. It also cleans up trails you leave behind
as you surf the Web and protects sensitive information such as email,
passwords, personal files. This program has only been recently available
in New Zealand and Australia due to its 128-bit encryption technology
(which was previously only available to US/Canadian citizens).
Note: before installing any type of security software, it is advisable
