  1. ¶3   FRIENDSHIP IN THE SCENE.

  5. ¶1   I   wrote  this  article  because
  6. there  are  so  many  articles about
  7. friendship  in all the mags present.
  8. I'll  mainly just want to share some
  9. of my opinions with all you guys out
  10. there, so here we go....
  11.                                                  
  12.    Friendship   is  a  weird  thing.
  13. Especially  when  your "friend" is a
  14. guy  who  lives  ¶3800 ¶1kilometres away
  15. from  you  and you have never talked
  16. to  him  and you don't even know how
  17. he  looks  like.   How can you so be
  18. friends?  I think the answer is very
  19. simple  actually,  because  when you
  20. have  written  so  many  letters  to
  21. eachother  I guess you feel you know
  22. the guy quite good.  If he writes to
  23. you  about  everything, like his new
  24. girlfriend,  his new group, problems
  25. at  home  etc.   and  you think it's
  26. cool  if  he  have  made  some  nice
  27. things,  and  I'm  not only thinking
  28. computing, I guess I'd say that this
  29. guy was my friend.

  31.    I will give you an example on the
  32. difference between the success-elite
  33. guy,    and    the   friendly   one.
  34. (Appearantly  from  "real"  life the
  35. latter  one.)  I'm  a  swapper and a
  36. packmaker  as well, and since I just
  37. joined  a  new  group, I didn't have
  38. any pack-menu.  So I wrote to one of
  39. my  friends in Germany and asked him
  40. if  he would like to code a packmenu
  41. for  me.  He told me he had a lot of
  42. school-work (I hate it) to do, so he
  43. was  quite  busy.  Still, he said he
  44. would  do  it  as  fast as possible.
  45. Later  on  I got the menu, and I was
  46. ofcourse very happy.
  47.  
  48.    Me  and  my  friends  do also not
  49. only    write    about    computing!
  50. Actually  I  think  that some of the
  51. letters  I  get  is  quite funny and
  52. interesting  to read!  Oops, I think
  53. I  fell  off the track now.  Back to
  54. the  examples:  The other example is
  55. that  my former group (yes, Angelica
  56. that is) was going to make a diskmag
  57. and   so  we  needed  a  news-editor
  58. (ofcourse!).   So I called one of my
  59. oldest  contacts,  who have over 100
  60. contacts, and therefore I thought he
  61. was very good. But when I called and
  62. asked  him,  the  first thing he did
  63. was  to  laugh.   I asked why he was
  64. laughing  and  he  answered  that he
  65. could  be  the  news-editor in every
  66. mag  in  the scene, so why should he
  67. choose   a   newcommer  of  all  the
  68. opportunities   he'd  got?   I  then
  69. asked  him  about friendship and his
  70. answer  to  the  question  was:"¶3FUCK
  71. FRIENDSHIP! I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I'M
  72. FAMOUS!¶1" I really hate that arrogant
  73. behaviour.  That sure is exactly the
  74. opposite of friendship!  I don't say
  75. that  every  scene-guys  should jump
  76. around  in  weird  clothes  and give
  77. flowers  to  everybody,  I  just say
  78. there  are  friendship in the scene!
  79. I sure think so.

  81. ¶2   I'm  really  tired now and I just
  82. want  to  sleep  so  I will end this
  83. little  article  now.   I just wrote
  84. this little piece of ....  because I
  85. am  tired  always  have to hear that
  86. there  are no friendship left in the
  87. scene....  I would be happy if there
  88. was  some guys with the same opinion
  89. as  me,  who  would like to write to
  90. one  or  another  discmag present to
  91. share my opnions.....
