  18. A few months ago you called me regarding an old friend of
  19. mine, William (Bill) Cooper.  You asked me to confirm seeing
  20. and receiving documents from Bill Cooper on the night of his
  21. wedding in 1972.
  22.  
  23. I have been reluctant to discuss this with you and with the
  24. numerous pople who have been trying to contact me.  I have
  25. never met you or any of the other people that called me on
  26. the phone.  I would have liked to have met with John Lear,
  27. however, when I was finally able to return his call, he had
  28. checked out of his hotel in Honolulu.
  29.  
  30. Bill and I were close friends.  We discussed numerous
  31. subjects.  However, when I would push in an area of a
  32. classified nature, he simply said that he could not discuss
  33. it.  Throughout our friendship, I was involved in commercial
  34. as well as a sportdiving operations based out of Honolulu
  35. (Skin Diving Hawaii).  The work which we were involved in
  36. required team work and trust.  Often the topic of UFO's
  37. would be discussed.  I learned through Bill that every  space
  38. flight was accompanied by UFO's.  As I have said, Bill and I
  39. were good friends.  I was best man at his wedding.  On the
  40. eve of his wedding, there was no party.

  42. Here is what I remember of that evening.

  45. Bill wanted to discuss something which was troubling him.  I
  46. was there to listen.  Through the course of our conversation,
  47. Bill produced some documents which contained what I believed
  48. to be classified information.  It was about an alien base on
  49. the back side of the moon, as well as other information of a
  50. tender nature that Bill was involved in at CINCPACFLT in
  51. Naval Intelligence.  I believed at thee time and still do
  52. that this information was true.  We decided that I should
  53. keep copies of this information in case anything happen to
  54. Bill.

  56. Unfortunately all I can remember is Space shots and the bases
  57. on the Moon.  Whether this is due to the information being so
  58. unbelievable or so diturbing, I cannot say.  Discussions of
  59. the assassination of JFK came up but I cannot remember
  60. where they led.  i have given that evening a grat deal of

  70. thought since you called, and have tried to piece together
  71. that evening.  This is all i can come up with.  The
  72. information which i was to hang onto has since disappeared.
  73. I wish I could be more help to you and Bill, but I do not
  74. have the documents and cannot positively confirm anything
  75. other than what I have told you.

  77. If you talk to Bill, please express my feelings of
  78. frustration in trying to recreate one evening 17 years ago.
