  4. @1    These are paper based RPGs that uses settings influenced
  5. by the cyberpunk style of SF, such as Gibson's _Neuromancer_, but
  6. _Shadowrun_ effectively combines the cyberpunk with fantasy elements.

  8. I prefer the _Cyberpunk 2020_ game-system, which is also used in one or
  9. two other rpgs from the same company.  Like most such games, they are
  10. heavily biased towards American culture, and the European supplements
  11. can come across as badly wrong.  I don't much like the general bleakness
  12. and hopelessness of the cyberpunk setting.  It isn't my sort of game.

  14. Most such stuff is printed in perfect-bound 8.5x11 format.  _Cyberpunk
  15. 2020_ comes in several non-english-language editions.
