- In a report by the broadcasting watchdogÿ
- it has been announced that up to 40% of
- people watch things on television which are
- in danger of entertaining them. They are
- forced to sit in front of the TV and be
- entertained as many as three times a day.
- This is posing a problem for William
- Reece-Mogge in that even after their efforts
- to remove any scenes which may contain
- entertaining material or speech with words
- not in the victorian dictionaryÿ they still
- find people unhappy with the extent of the
- measures. They haveÿ howeverÿ promised that
- they will not rest until nothing
- entertaining can be seenÿ heardÿ
- role-playedÿ imagined or read in any form by
- anyone. We wish them luck in their quest to
- clean up the world. Now I'd better sit and
- watch ITV - no danger of being entertained
- there. Ohÿ there's a quiz show on...
