  5. ±11The "Rendezvous 1993" was arranged by
  6. Symbiosis   in  Kristiansand,  Norway
  7. from July 30th to August 1st.
  8.  
  9. Well, what can I say?  It was a quite
  10. small  party,  with  only  about  ±12300±11
  11. visitors.   The sound and audiovisual
  12. equipment  was rather poor, but since
  13. the  demo  competition was cancelled,
  14. this didn't matter much.
  15.  
  16. Here  is  a  list of groups I noticed
  17. was   present:    Andromeda,  Avalon,
  18. Balance,      Cadaver,     Crusaders,
  19. Cryptoburners(?),   Destiny,  Devils,
  20. Eon,  Exile,  Iris, Lemon., Majic 12,
  21. Noiseless,    Pure    Metal   Coders,
  22. Spaceballs, Talent, The Pornos and of
  23. course Stone Arts...

  81. ±13DEMO COMPETITION:

  83. ±11The  demo  competition  was cancelled
  84. due  to  lack of contributions.  Only
  85. three demos had been delivered...
  86.  
  87. The   first   price   in   the  music
  88. competition  was  an A1200, while the
  89. first    price    in   the   graphics
  90. competition  was  a  Scala multimedia
  91. package.  Commodore had promissed the
  92. arrangers   an  A4000  for  the  demo
  93. competition, but when they heard that
  94. only  300  persons were present, they
  95. changed   the  A4000  into  an  A1200
  96. instead.

  98. The  most  drunk person on this party
  99. was  beyond  the shadow of the doubt,
  100. Scott/Spaceballs.   He  actually laid
  101. on the floor and puked blood!  (Sorry
  102. for  refering  to  you  as a "wreck",
  103. Scott!  ±13-Ed.±11)
  104.  
  105. The  biggest  disappointment  was  of
  106. course  that the demo competition was
  107. cancelled,  beside that the party was
  108. o.k,  concidering how few people that
  109. were present.  A thing that surprised
  110. me  a  bit was the high entrance fee,
  111. about  $18,5.   Especially  when  you
  112. consider  that the competition prizes
  113. were sponsored.

  115. All  in  all,  the best thing at this
  116. party  was  the  ±13hot-dogs±11  they sold!
  117. Hmmm...
  118.  
  119. ±12I   hope  Symbiosis  will  arrange  a
  120. sequel to "Rendezvous '93" next year!
