  4.    Dire Straits has made a record that
  5. will be difficult to beat.In the first
  6. week  "On Every Street" was in sale it
  7. sold over 6 millions CD's.

  9.    It's   a   long   time  since  Mark
  10. Knopfler  and  his Dire Straits was on
  11. the  first  place  on the worldcharts.
  12. Six  years  ago,  it  was "Brothers In
  13. Arms"     whitch     sold    millions.
  14. Knopfler's   special,  almost  singing
  15. guitarsound,  whitch  we  all remember
  16. from  "Sultans Of Swing" in 1978, made
  17. him  the  biggest  star  and a popular
  18. helper  for  other  musicians.  He was
  19. the    heavyst    name    in   Notting
  20. Hillbillies,  made  the  music for the
  21. film  "Local  Hero",  and  was  a good
  22. countryguitarist  and  singer together
  23. with  Chet  Atkins.   He  has got more
  24. routine  and  talent  past this years.
  25. Dire  Strait  is  back  again with "On
  26. Every Street".  He shows his qualities
  27. in  "You  And Your Friend", which is a
  28. great  ballad.   The first tune on the
  29. album,  "Calling  Elvis",  is also the
  30. groups   titletune  on  the  worldtour
  31. whitch  is in Norway in late Juli.  In
  32. "How  Long"  shows Mark his experience
  33. from   Notting   Hillbillies.   It  is
  34. twelve  new  tunes on the album ,which
  35. five is classics.  The other tunes are
  36. just exellent.
