  2.  THE SMUGGLERS.   Written by Brian Hayles.   4 episodes.

  7.    It is 17th century England. The TARDIS lands on the Cornish coast and the
  8.  Doctor becomes involved in the hunt for lost treasure. After helping a
  9.  churchwarden by putting right his dislocated hand, the Doctor is given a
  10.  clue to the whereabouts of the treasure. This treasure is sought by the
  11.  pirates whose Captain hid the treasure and a group of smugglers, led by
  12.  the local squire. The pirates kidnap the TARDIS crew, who are saved by the
  13.  timely intervention of the local militia.
  14.
