  2.  THE EDGE OF DESTRUCTION.   Written by David Whittaker.   2 Episodes.

  7.  COMPANIONS:-  Ian, Barbara and Susan.
  8.  
  9.    In a desperate attempt to regain control of the TARDIS directional
  10.  system, the Doctor tries a new combination. There is a massive explosion as
  11.  a result and the crew are rendered unconscious. 
  12.    When they all regain their senses, Susan and Barbara believe that the
  13.  TARDIS has been invaded by an alien force. Ian says that the TARDIS must
  14.  be suffering a technical failure but the fault locator shows clear.
  15.  The crew begin to suffer psychological problems and the Doctor accuses Ian
  16.  and Barbara of sabotage and threatens to throw them from the ship. 
  17.  Even Susan begins to suspect the pair.
  18.    Eventually they realise that the TARDIS defence system is responsible
  19.  for all the trouble and had stopped the ship because the Fast Return Switch
  20.  had jammed, threatening to return them all to the point of creation.
  21.    This is the only story set entirely aboard the TARDIS with no other cast
  22.  apart from the regulars.
