- will add a text file to another text file,
- such as a BBS advert onto a textfile
- uploaded to your BBS.
- code4.lha 12K Code 4.0 by Jan Lindström - Code
- transforms Amiga ascii text to PC ascii
- text or PC ascii text to Amiga ascii text.
- conv201.lha 167K CONVERT 2.01 by Rainer Koppler - This is a
- powerful file conversion program. It
- covers the application domain of any ASCII
- file conversion tool between Amiga and
- any other computer system. In addition to
- that "Convert" is freely configurable, so
- that it can be used for any conversion
- problem.
- cv.lha 83K CV/CVT by Tobias Ferber - CV is a
- character set conversion package. It
- includes CVT, the main conversion utility
- which takes the conversion rules from
- ASCII script files. There are currently 26
- example scripts including Amiga<->DOS,
- Amiga<->Mac, Amiga <->TeX and many more.
- These script files can be generated by CSC
- - the CharSet Compiler.
- etm.lha 1K ETM - Elite Text Maker v0.99 by Xypo - ETM
- modifies ordinary textfiles into
- "elitetext files". Maybe there are some
- "elite" guys out there that are in need
- of just a program like this?
- fdiff.lha 3K FDiff 1.0 by Nicolas Dade - This compares
- 2 text files on a line-by-line basis,
- outputing to STDOUT the lines which
- differ, with a "+ <line number> "
- precceding lines from the NEWFILE, and a
- "- <line number> " preceeding lines from
- the OLDFILE. FDiff requires KS2.04.
- figlet.lha 42K Amiga Figlet by Glenn Chappell - This
- creates large characters out of ordinary
- screen characters. Figlet can create
- characters in many different styles and
- can "smush" these characters together in
- various ways. Figlet output is generally
- reminiscent of the sort of "signatures"
- many people like to put at the end of
- e-mail messages.
- guidegen.lha 32K GuideGen by Justin Miller - This will
- generate AmigaGuide databases. It allows
- you to add and remove nodes, edit each
- node's text, arrange the node's order, and
- create buttons and link them to other
- nodes, potentially in other files.
- Heddley.lha 50K Heddley 1.0 by Edd Dumbill - Heddley is an
- editor to help you create AmigaGuide
- files. It has a good-looking Intuition
- interface and a powerful ARexx port - two
- things which set it apart from any similar
- tool.
- ilbm2ascii14.lha 44K ILBM2ASCII 1.4 by Tobias Ferber - Converts
- IFF pictures into an ASCII
- representation. The program will
- antialiase the text by selecting the best
- characters to make the edge. Characters
- are also selected for their density when
- shading.
- lsd-wrap.lha 11K ReWrap 1.0 by Shagratt of LSD - This is a
- Text file reformatter. It rebuilds
- paragraphs, removes margins, puts a space
- after a comma, puts 2 spaces after a full
- stop, puts a capital letter after a full
- stop, If the entire file is in upper case,
- it converts it to lower case, removes all
- control codes, etc.
- psnap22.lha 47K PowerSnap 2.2 by Nico Francois - This
- allows you to use the mouse to mark
- characters anywhere on the screen and
- paste them somewhere else, like in the
- CLI or in a string gadget. PowerSnap will
- check what font is used in the window you
- snap from and will look for the position
- of the characters automatically.
- qman101.lha 8K QMan V1.01 by Torgeir Hovden - QMan is a
- man-page launcher, like MAN (1993 Kai
- Iske/ Gunthersoft). Having used MAN for a
- while, I was getting tired of having to
- keep all my helpfiles in specific
- directories. Maybe there is other
- approach to this problem? The solution may
- be QMan.
- raline20.lha 48K RandomLine 2.0 by J.Schmitz - This inserts
- a randomly selected line of a list of text
- lines into any given ascii file. it is
- designed for a typical FIDO-Tosser. If you
- write a mail and start RandomLine after
- that a special text could be added.
- snap164.lha 99K Snap 1.63 by Mikael Karlsson - Snap is the
- perfect tool for the lazy typer. Isn't it
- irritating when you look at something on
- the screen and think: "That is what I'm
- going to type."? What if you could just
- point at it and get the computer to type
- it for you? That's what Snap does!
- sort1_23.lha 18K sort 1.23 by Rüdiger Werner - The program
- was written for use in Shell only. It is
- started either by simply typing it's name
- (of course it should be in the current
- directory or in the path) or by giving
- additionally switches and/or the name of
- the file what should be sorted.
- text2200.lha 14K Text 2 Guide 2.0 by Stephan Sürken - This
- converts plain ASCII text into Amiga
- TEXT2SCP.lha 8K TXT2SCP by Don Lester - This is a small
- update to ascii2scp which wouldn't
- properly handle escape codes in the source
- file. After reading complaints on
- Internet from some people who didn't like
- doing an ASCII send to upload their
- signature files, I decided to crank out
- this little program.
- ttr_1-3.lha 5K Tagline Ripper 1.3 by James W Savage - TTR
- rips those amusing (or not) little
- comments from the bottom of messages. It
- then puts them in a single, easy to
- manage, file that you can then keep, edit,
- or just throw away. This utility is fully
- intuition driven and uses the ASL file
- requester for simple file location. Needs
- KS2.
- txtcvt.lha 10K TxtCvt 1.0 by Njål Fisketjøn - Converts a
- document created with one of the
- following PC programs to pure
- ASCII-format text; Word 5.5 for DOS, Word
- 1.x for Windows, Word 2.0 for Windows and
- Windows Write 3.1.
