  6. CEO boss Trip Hawkins has announced a second generation of 3DO's in an
  7. effort to regain European recognition for the sruggling machine. Billed
  8. as 3DO-M2, the specs show that the machine COULD leapfrog the Saturn and
  9. Playstation and directly challenge Nintendo's Ultra64. With Matsushita
  10. the world's largest electronics company behind it - it can't be written
  11. off as a non-starter and there hoping for a price tag of around £180.
  12. The M2 will be based on a Power PC CPU running at 66MHz.

  14. Current 3DO owners can buy an upgrade cartidge in Dec 95 to make their
  15. machine into an M2.
