  7. Virgin's "One World Atlas" is the newest geographical atlas available on the
  8. market and it is surely among one of the best.  With a coverage of 235
  9. countries, "One World" provides very accurate political maps in a forever
  10. changing world.  Each country comes with maps and facts about statistics,
  11. meteorology, politics and topography.  More than 600 color maps are featured
  12. in the atlas with over 1,100 photographs that nearly show every area of the
  13. globe.

  15. If you are looking for geographical & cultural data, "One World" is bundled
  16. with over 50,000 facts about cities, rivers, mountains and more, and also
  17. 10,000 cultural facts.

  19. The overall presentation is a bit unusual compared to others but once you
  20. get used to it, it is something you will miss when trying the competitors.
  21. For example, twenty-five minutes of cultural music from all over the world 
  22. will accompany you during your exploration.  You will have the possibility
  23. to zoom in satellite generated geosphere maps and also to enlarge portions
  24. of every photograph you view.

  26. "One World" brings many new features compared to the other similar titles
  27. available on the market, and still remains an excellent atlas.

  29. The first interactive encyclopedia of people and cultures, "One Tribe", is
  30. now available from Virgin Sound and Vision.

  32. Pip Dann from MTV will be your host assisted by Brad Lavelle during the
  33. interactive documentary programs of over one hour.  Each continent is
  34. reviewed with pictures, music and a total of over 30 minutes of BBC video
  35. footage about cultures and people is packed with "One Tribe".  There are
  36. over 3,000 photographs of around the globe taken by top photographers that
  37. can be enlarged as in "One World".

  39. Music is always present in "One Tribe" with a rich selection of music from
  40. 15 areas in the world coming from Peter Gabriel's "Real World Music Label".
  41. The encyclopedia also features interactive quizzes, 25 theme slide shows with
  42. regions, temples, conflicts, etc..., 600 color maps which cover 235 countries 
  43. and thousands of cultural and geographical facts.

  45. The presentation, like "One World", is nothing we can compare with, because
  46. it is so different from what we expect of a multimedia encyclopedia.
  47. Its best quality is probably more attractive for the younger audience who
  48. might consider the other multimedia encyclopedia too serious.  "One Tribe"
  49. brings authentic and accurate information while providing the audience with
  50. a smell of entertainment.
