  1. Cracking Hooh Crackme by McCool

  3. Tools:
  4. NuMega SmartCheck
  5.  
  6. Cracking:
  7. Load the crackme up in SmartCheck (properly configured, of course) and
  8. enter any name and serial #.  I used Muad'Dib and 12345678.  Click and
  9. then a "Click" event will show up in SC.  Click "Show all events" and
  10. you will be able to expand the click event.  Do so and you will see the
  11. function __vbaStrCmp().  Click on that item and you will notice that it
  12. compares the serial you entered to "HoohIgotit".  Try "HoohIgotit" as
  13. your serial number and it says "grretz".  That means the crackme is
  14. solved :)

  16. Sorry about the short tutorial, but it really doesn't deserve a long
  17. explanation, as there isn't much to explain!
