  26. As this is a tutorial for newbies, I'll go into details about how I go 
  27. about cracking the program. I suggest that you read this tutorial first.
  28. When you have completed the tutorial, leave this tutorial open and follow
  29. the instructions. Re-do it once more after you have completed the step 
  30. by step guide...

  32. In this essay, when I write type "d EAX" or similar commands in Softice,
  33. I mean it without the quotes.

  40. ok that's very..very..very easy. ;) doesn't it? i think it is

  42. ok this program is a nice little program that make u generate sounds (midi)..duh a piano program ;)...so i gave it a shot..so here is the result:

  44. open the program (no matter if u dont have it..just learn from the tut the way to crack it).
  45. ok..goto help->register and enter any name u want in the text field.
  46. i entered this:
  47. name: bengaly

  49. now before u press ok button open sIce and do a : BPX HMEMCPY
  50. press f5 (exit from sIce) and press the OK button.
  51. **BOOM** sIce poped-up..what's next??
  52. well press f12 (9 times) untill u will reach the program code (press bc*) to clear the breakpoint,and we will land here:

  54. xxxx:yyyy TEST EAX,EAX ; compare our serial
  55. if u will press d eax u wont see anything...since we cant see what's in eax, so if u will press D EDX u will see the serial infornt of your eyes hehe..in my case..and i think in all cases it's: pxr-123-xw987
