  16. introduction,  PowerTeK  now  has  six
  17. members.  We are:

  49. Listed  below are some of the sorts of
  50. people  we  need  in  the  group.   Of
  51. course, these are only suggestions and
  52. we're  always open to new ideas if you
  53. have  any.   Most importantly, though,
  54. is   that   we   operate   solely   on
  55. FRIENDSHIP  with  the  odd release now
  56. and again.
  57. Also,  let  me  make  it clear that we
  58. don't really care how talented you are
  59. at   drawing,   coding,   writing   or
  60. composing.   (Not that we would object
  61. if  you  had  the  coding  prowess  to
  62. convert Ridge Racer to the A500!)

  64. We  have  come  to the conclusion that
  65. the  skill  of  any  one person can be
  66. determined  by the amount of hair they
  67. have.  That's FACIAL hair, by the way!
  68. Take Jeff Minter or Shagratt and Pazza
  69. of LSD for example.

  72. AMOS,  Blitz,  C, Assembler?  We don't
  73. really care.  Our main concern at this
  74. time  is  trying to get Beyond Sanit-E
  75. in  a  fully-coded  state.   This will
  76. enable  us to customize the mag to our
  77. own designs and ideas.

  80. We've already got a few artists in the
  81. group,  but  we're rapidly finding out
  82. that  it's not enough.  So, are ya any
  83. good  at  the  old  colourising pixels
  84. jobby?   If  so,  get ya Deluxe Paint,
  85. Personal      Paint,      Moviesetter,
  86. Lightwave,  Read 3D or..erm...  Smarty
  87. Paints out and create some visions.

  91. staring  into  a  bleak  ProTracker or
  92. Octamed   screen?    Do  you  have  an
  93. obsession  to  make  composition after
  94. composition?  Well, we're here to help
  95. you.   Just  carrying on damaging your
  96. health with the lack of sleep but send
  97. us  the  modules.  (Preferably, before
  98. the funeral!)

  101. At  the moment we are concentrating on
  102. improving  Beyond  Sanit-E to the best
  103. standard  we  can  achieve.   We  need
  104. loads  of  quality  articles  in  each
  105. issue to achieve this aim.  Therefore,
  106. the  more  article writers we have the
  107. easier it's gonna be.  All you need is
  108. an imagination or opinion and a pen or
  109. keyboard.
  110. (Although   it'll   be   a  bit  of  a
  111. disadvantage  to  you.   Even  if  you
  112. don't actually have a computer you can
  113. still  be  a  part  of PowerTeK.  Yes,
  114. that's   right!   NO  AMIGA  REQUIRED!

  118. It's  all very well us slaving away at
  119. the     keyboard,     creating     new
  120. productions.   But  at  the end of the
  121. day,  it's getting them distributed to
  122. masses  that  really  matters.  So, as
  123. long as you've got a reasonable amount
  124. of  contax, you can join PTK as a mail
  125. -     trader,    modem    -    trader,
  126. goingroundm8'shouses - trader.

  131. are  thinking  about  setting up a BBS

  171. We  may  be dedicated to the Amiga but
  172. we  wouldn't  rule out the possibility
  173. of  a PC division of PowerTeK sometime
  174. in  the  future.   Obviously, it would
  175. have  to  be  run  by  PC owners which
  176. rules  out  me  and  Gobliiin  for one
  177. (besides  there's  enough  work on the
  178. Amiga side).  So, if there's a load of
  179. frantic   PC  owners  out  there  that
  180. actually  want  to  do more with their
  181. machines  than play Doom (I know there
  182. must  be  someone...   somewhere!) and
  183. want  to be associated with us, get in
  184. touch.
  185. For a start, a PC conversion of Beyond
  186. Sanit-E would probably be on the cards
  187. if a group was ever to form.  Not only
  188. would  this  mean  that  the  magazine
  189. would   be  spread  to  a  much  wider
  190. audience,  it  might also attract some
  191. new  article  writers  with  different
  192. views and ideas.
