  16. Back again, and now I with proud could call this a 'real' Gazette, as
  17. it has been released more than one issue! And I still do it for the
  18. same reasons as the last issue. I have again produced a magazine with
  19. Ascii-News, Facts and Lists.

  25. Since we have a scene out there with about 450 more or less active
  26. Ascii-artists (28 new since last issue the 12/12'95), and a lot bigger
  27. crowd with fans and supporters of the Ascii, I thought that it was time to
  28. define this subject, and bring you all a hopefully quite true story about
  29. what really went on during these years when it all happened. Here you could
  30. read about almost EVERYTHING that has something to do with Ascii. As
  31. someone told me, this aint a Gazette, it's a Dictionary for the Artist
  32. of Today! Do click your way through lists over the active artists of
  33. today and see who joined which group the latests days. Now with this new
  34. issue it all is a bit updated too, so hopefully even more entertaining
  35. this time!

  37. This is, and will always be really stunning experience, thats for sure.
  38. Special subjects for this issue are (together with many others) E-Mail,
  39. Boards, Release-Lists, and many explenations about what really happened
  40. to the groups that dissapeared.

  49. This production is absolutly not only for the ones involved in this
  50. wonderful scene. Quite the contrary, since most of the teaching parts
  51. of Ascii-Gazette are formed to get everones attention. A Beginners Guide,
  52. as well as the Professionals Dictionary!
  53. Do also notice that the Text-version of the Ascii Gazette aint exactly
  54. the same as the Executable version. So don't forget to check both of them.

  81. I used a program called 'Magnum' to put together this production. Magnum
  82. is a program that I got without a doc, and since there aint no © info
  83. in the code of it, I could only thank the author, whoever it may be.

  85. About the comments that came when people discovered that I used this
  86. program, I have to say: I'm a very demanding person, I like to do things,
  87. I like to do them correct, and quite effective. I couldn't impossibly
  88. finish this project and the have to wait 5 mounths for a coder to make
  89. a special coded version of the Ascii-Gazette. That's why I choose the
  90. easy and simple way, using a program that some would call 'lame' like
  91. this one. But, I'm terribly sorry if this is the way you feel about it,
  92. but in that case don't even bother to execute the porgram, read the
  93. text-version of the Gazette instead. When I found this program I saw it
  94. as the best alternative, and though I probably shouldn't have done the
  95. same thing today, I'm not THAT disappointed with what it does. Think
  96. again, do you really dissaprove it THAT much? 
  97. It's quite descrete and displays the ascii fast and easy, and it's really
  98. simple for me to use when I make the Gazette, so I can't say I concider
  99. it as THAT lame.

  101. I'd like to appoligize for my english grammar that probably is terrible
  102. bad at a couple of places, and for my lousy Iff that I used in the intro
  103. pictures and in the menu. Otherwise, the credits for this production
