  16.      The header files <_l_i_m_i_t_s._h> and <_f_l_o_a_t._h> is a list of various limits on
  17.      resources that IRIX imposes on applications.  The limits in these headers
  18.      fall into 3 main categories.
  19.
  20.      Numerical limits    These specify the maximum and minimum representable
  21.                          numbers for the fundamental "C" types (integer,
  22.                          float, etc.).
  23.
  24.      Minimum resource limits
  25.                          These specify the minimum limits on certain
  26.                          resources. These are usually specified by either the
  27.                          POSIX or XPG standards.  Many of these have higher
  28.                          actual limits that are available at runtime via the
  29.                          _ssss_yyyy_ssss_cccc_oooo_nnnn_ffff(3C) or _pppp_aaaa_tttt_hhhh_cccc_oooo_nnnn_ffff(2) system calls.
  30.
  31.      Resource limits     These are real non-varying resource limits imposed by
  32.                          the system.
