  15.      _m_k_b_s_d_p_r registers a BSD spooling system printer with the System V
  16.      spooling system. This provides the ability to submit a print job via
  17.      System V and have that job printed on a BSD based printer.

  19.      _l_p__p_r_i_n_t_e_r is the name you wish to give the System V printer (see
  20.      _l_p_a_d_m_i_n(1M)).  _b_s_d__p_r_i_n_t_e_r is the name of the BSD spooling system printer
  21.      (see _l_p_r(1)).

  23.      _m_k_b_s_d_p_r should be executed only after installing the BSD spooling system
  24.      software and configuring the BSD printer (see _p_r_i_n_t_c_a_p(4)).

  26.      _m_k_b_s_d_p_r creates a System V printer interface program to communicate with
  27.      BSD print spooler. This interface program will normally keep a log of its
  28.      activities in the file ////vvvvaaaarrrr////ssssppppoooooooollll////llllpppp////lllloooogggg.  The ----llll option causes the
  29.      interface program to keep its log in /var/spool/lp/etc/log/_l_p__p_r_i_n_t_e_r-log
  30.      instead.  The ----vvvv option causes the interface program to keep a more
  31.      verbose log.

  33.      After running this program, you might consider making this printer the
  34.      default printer using _l_p_a_d_m_i_n(1M).

  37.      1.   _m_k_b_s_d_p_r only provides connectivity from the System V print spooler
  38.           to BSD print spooler. The program cannot be used for installing or
  39.           registering a local BSD printer.
