  75.                     These release notes describe the MIPspro 7.3
  76.                     Silicon Graphics(R) Base Compiler Development
  77.                     portion (compiler_dev) of the IRIX(R)
  78.                     Development Foundation (IDF).  The compiler_dev
  79.                     subsystems support 32-bit, 64-bit, and high
  80.                     performance 32-bit (n32) compilation modes.
  81.                     compiler_dev consists of utilities, header
  82.                     files, libraries common to several languages,
  83.                     compiler backends, linkers, assemblers, man
  84.                     pages, and release notes.  compiler_dev 7.3 is
  85.                     packaged on the IDF 1.2 CDs for IRIX 6.2, 6.3,
  86.                     6.4, and 6.5._x _s_y_s_t_e_m_s.

  88.                          NOTE: The DBX debugger is no longer part of
  89.                                compiler_dev, but is now packaged in
  90.                                its own separate image on a different CD,
  91.                                the ProDev Developer's Suite.

  150.                     If you have a graphics system, select Release
  151.                     Notes from the Help submenu of the Toolchest.
  152.                     This displays the grelnotes(1) graphical browser
  153.                     for the online release notes.  For information
  154.                     on options to this command, refer to the
  155.                     grelnotes(1) man page.

  157.                     If you do not have a graphics system, you can
  158.                     use the relnotes command.  For information on
  159.                     accessing the online release notes using this
