  1.             THREAD Display
  2.     This panel displays the tree of articles in discussion
  3. tbreads created by followups to previous articles. Each article
  4. is represented by a box containing the initials of the sender.
  5. The article currently being read has its box filled in.
  6. .
  7.     The thread structure is worked out from the References:
  8. headers. NN-TK attempts to reconstruct the thread structure
  9. even if some of the earlier articles have expired. Articles for
  10. which there is no information are shown as empty boxes, articles
  11. that are excluded for reasons such as kill files are shown as boxes
  12. with dashes in them. Selected articles are indicated by a thicker
  13. border on the box.

  15.     The left mouse button can be used to toggle the selected
  16. state of an article by clicking on the box. Dragging the left 
  17. mouse button will produce green box which selects all articles
  18. in the box. Dragging the right mouse button will produce a red
  19. box which unselects all articles in the box.

  21.             NEWSGROUPS list
  22.  
  23.     Mouse button 1 is used to select the group to jump to, this
  24. pops up a menu which has options for jumping to the group, jumping
  25. while marking the current group as read, jumping and displaying all
  26. articles etc. Jumping can be canceled with ^G.
  27.  
  28.     The first column of numbers indicates the number of unread
  29. articles in each group. If the nn-tk option group_list_all is set
  30. there is a second number in parentheses which is the total number
  31. of articles in the group, read or unread. The red N indicates a
  32. new group, the blue U an unsubscribed group and a green | indicates
  33. the groups who's sequence is set via the modify panel.

  35.     The modify button brings up the group list modify panel. The
  36. text entry with the forward and backward buttons is used to search
  37. the group list.
