Transcription: The first milking machine was created by the American L.O. Colvin in the 1860s. Later, in 1895, a Scotsman, Dr. Alexander Shields, came up with the idea of using an intermittent suction device. Fortunately for the cows of today, this device is much more comfortable than earlier ones.
