  1. I just wanted to say that i absolutely agree with what Markus said.
  2. I have been in the computer business since 1981, and most companies
  3. until today really had this feeling of "You can be lucky that we allow
  4. you to buy our product!", which really, sorry for the word, but pisses
  5. me off.
  6. And as Markus already said, there is NO 100% copy protection, and
  7. developing one that is close to that isn't an easy task...
  8. Anyway, my main point was that i, as Markus, licensed Executor summer
  9. last year, after following and using it for at least half a year.
  10. I did this as i realized that i was using Executor more and more,
  11. and due to the fact that i saw hugh improvements in Executor at
  12. that time.
  13. After i returned to germany from my holidays in the USA in set up
  14. a ftp mirror site here in Germany for all european users to get
  15. hold of Executor as quickly as possible.
  16. Since then the mirror is up and running, Executor 2 is still not out
  17. but i am anything else but angry at ARDI. They really did an amazing
  18. job with Executor as it is now, and i am still patiently waiting for
  19. E2 to be released.
  20. Even if it would take several months more or even a year i wouldn't
  21. complain, as opposed to other companies ARDI really tries to keep
  22. their goals and promisses for E2, and their information policy makes
  23. them more attractive than any other company i have dealt with before.
  24. Even though i am a very active in the networking area, not only as
  25. user but a consultor, admin and programmer as well i don't mind that
  26. Executor won't support serial ports or even networking in E2, as i
  27. can used it with linux next to Executor. I'd love to see it in
  28. Executor sometime, but i absolutely understand their reason not to
  29. include it in E2.

  31. Finally i just want to say keep up the amazing work guys, and let's
  32. hope for the best in the future and that you still will be dealing
  33. with your customers like you do now in the years to come.
