  2. When I run: executor -geometry XxY with X bigger than ~800 and Y
  3. greater than ~600, the startup slows down markedly and then for larger
  4. dimensions (eg 900x600) the startup hangs after the splash screen and
  5. before the gray menu band appears.

  7. I am running E/L 1.99q12 under Linux 2.0.0 and XFree86 3.1.2 with an
  8. ATI Mach64 with 2MB VRAM and with my display set at 1280x1024.
  9. I now have 48MB EDO 60ns DRAM and 256KB pipeline-burst SRAM on my
  10. triton I (Aladdin) motherboard.

  12. The interesting thing is that I *never* had this problem before a
  13. couple of weeks ago. Among a number of system upgrades, I increased my
  14. memory from 16 to 48 MB, but have not had any problems with other
  15. applications.
