  1. Hello,

  3. Here is something I need to do with executor, but can't:

  5. At present, I run executor on my linux box, but display
  6. the output on my SPARC.
  7.  
  8. I do this by opening an xterm with my linux login shell,
  9. and type executor at the prompt.
  10.  
  11. What I want to do is exec executor (sic)
  12. using rsh commands, but when I do I get the error:
  13.  
  14. "unable to open display . "
  15.  
  16. Whether I export the $DISPLAY variable on linux or not.
  17.  
  18. I can rsh other commands that call X programs normally, 
  19. such as AsWedit or whatever.
  20.  
  21. It's only executor that is the problem...
  22.

  24. The goal is to add the rsh command to spawn executor to my SPARC window manager
  25. to transparently launch it...
  26.  
  27. Anyone else have this problem?
