  1. I tried to install Executor Beta 1 with Caldera Network Desktop.

  3. Caldera uses Accelerated X as it's X Desktop. When I tried to run
  4. Executor, it crashed.

  13. Note to ARDI:  In all of my time writing manuals, I have found it best to
  14. give a step-by-step install process, assuming absolutely NO knowledge from
  15. the user. You can include a "Quick-Start" chapter for advanced users.

  17. I had to try a few different things until I figured out that I needed to
  18. be logged into my Linux system as "ROOT" and on the hard drive to run the
  19. install. Installing from the CDROM gave an uninformative error. (Actually,
  20. I know about the "ROOT" thing from the start, but figuring out where I
  21. needed to be before running "install" took a leap of intuition.)

  23. It might be worthwhile investing $99.00 in a copy of Caldera for testing
  24. purposes. I told them about you, perhaps you can coax a developer copy out
  25. of them in exchange for an Executor Beta...
