  15. It'll have to be after E2 gets mastered.  I was hoping to get test
  16. copies of E2 final out this weekend (just the CD-ROM itself, we still
  17. have to clean up the packaging a little bit), but I've been preparing
  18. for a meeting with Apple instead, and our CD-ROM burner is away for
  19. repairs.

  21. The only things that will definitely be fixed are an HFS bug, a
  22. floating point bug and a warning that will tell you when Windows 95's
  23. MSCDEX is biting you and preventing you from accessing Mac CD-ROMs.
  24. There are a couple regressions that I spotted at MacHack which I hope
  25. to fix, too, but even those aren't guaranteed.

  29. On the good side, if Apple decides that what we're doing is a good
  30. thing, we may be able to crank up development sooner than we had hoped
  31. (i.e. we may not have to wait for E2 to generate money before we can
  32. hire more engineers).  On the other hand, it may take a while for
  33. Apple to even figure out whether or not a collaboration makes sense.
