  14. It would be extremely difficult for us to fix, since the VESA VBE
  15. video driver standard provides no way to set the border color.  The
  16. old-style VGA technique of setting the border color doesn't work in
  17. SVGA video modes.

  19. Long ago someone from SciTech said they they would probably make
  20. SciTech Display Doctor 5.2 would always display a black screen border.
  21. However, I'm not sure if they ever got around to doing this.
