  3. If you're an E/D user and are feeling adventurous, you can pick up
  4. ftp://ftp.ardi.com/pub/Executor_DOS/beta_cwsdpmi/csdpmi2b.zip and use
  5. the replacement cwsdpmi.exe.  It's a new DPMI provider that fixes a
  6. few bugs (you can see the author's note below).

  8. There's absolutely no reason to pick this up unless you just feel like
  9. getting something new.  We won't even be using this cwsdpmi.exe in the
  10. final release of Executor 2, but if anyone sees any differences with
  11. the new version, please let us know.

  13. NOTE: I have permission from Charles to put those two .zip files on
  14. our site.  He likes us and he likes Executor users, and we (at ARDI)
  15. like him a lot, since Executor/DOS is dependent on DJGPP/cwsdpmi.

  30. I have put together a new release of CWSDPMI.  Release 2 fixes bugs in handling
  31. lots of memory zones (it is now configurable), problems with XMS memory 
  32. handling (HIMEM.SYS only operation), allocation of memory blocks in the 60-64K
  33. size range, and deletion of the pagefile on exit.

  35. I have put a copy on XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX in username: XXXXX, password: XXXXXXXX.
  36. The binary (csdpmi2b.zip) and source (csdpmi2s.zip) are in the default
  37. directory.  The parameter setting source/binary are now included in the
  38. normal distributions.  I consider it to be in beta for about a week.  
  39. If I haven't heard that it makes things worse or breaks something new, 
  40. this distribution will be released by the end of June.
