- Thanks. Executor 2 is faster than Executor 1 was and we hope to
- continue the trend with Executor 3.
-

-
- There are ways you can replace Browser, in theory, but since Finder
- won't run it will just cripple you. I recommend *not* playing with
- Browser, although we'll soon release the source to Browser and you can
- then hack that up if you want (unfortunately that will need to be done
- on a real Mac, since Think C won't link under Executor).
-
- Daniel> Also, is there any plan to add FPU emulation to Executor?
- Daniel> This would be much quicker than using a Mac FPU emulator.
-
- Not in the near future. Our high priority tasks are (off the top of my head,
- and in no particular order):
-
- code reorganization
- ports to Win32 and OS/2
- serial support
- network support
- INIT and CDEV support (esp. QuickTime and ATM)
- bug fixes
- performance increases
-
- On the other hand, one aspect of the code reorg, assuming we implement
- it, will allow programs that use SANE to run much faster.
