-
- Yes, you'll need to start it in System 6 mode, definitely.
-
- Mark> Is this a known problem, or have other people had Excel

-
- Excel 3.0a should work, but Excel 3.0 (without the a) will not work
- under Executor, nor will it work on a 68040 based Mac with the cache
- turned on. In short, Excel 3 had a bug that made it incompatible with
- 68040 based Macs, and the 3.0a revision fixed this.
-
- Excel 4 doesn't have this problem at all.
-
- Unfortunately, Excel 5 requires multi-tasking in order to enable OLE
- and we don't yet support multi-tasking, so Excel 5 won't work.
-
- You used to be able to get a free upgrade from 3.0 to 3.0a, but I
- doubt that Microsoft will still do that.
