  1. I have let Executor languish on my system for quite a while, but I am facing 
  2. a situation this summer where being able to use Executor productively could 
  3. be a big help. The two programs I hope to have running are Word 5 and Excel 
  4. 3. Word seems to be working OK, but Excel has problems.

  6. I am running Executor 1.99q, with the following system info:
  7. Linux kernel 1.2.13, elf binaries.
  8. 2 MB applzone.
  9. .5 MB syszone
  10. ..25 MB stack.
  11. Excel version 3.0.
  12. When attempting to use formulas in Excel, Executor locks up. I can 
  13. enter a formula into a cell - such as =sum(a1,a2) - but as soon as
  14. I hit return to calculate the formula Executor freezes.

  16. If I try to start Executor in system 7 mode, by the way, Executor 
  17. simply bombs out of Excel upon trying to start it.
  18.  
  19. Is this a known problem, or have other people had Excel working fine? And what 
  20. can I expect once 2.0 is out?
