  16.      an FPU on a mac is a floating point unit.  It is basically a math
  17. coprocessor. It takes the burden of performing floating decimal point
  18. math off of the cpu from my understanding.   And although executor
  19. *has* a control panel, it is not a *true* control panel like on a mac.  On a
  20. mac there is a place in your control panel to put what are called
  21. *extensions* which are basically what we IBM'ers call device drivers. 
  22. The FPU emulator needs to go in your extensions folder.  There isn't one
  23. in executor, thus the program won't work.  I'm hoping that Ardi will
  24. release a version of executor where you can load the true System 7
  25. operating system.  Once they figure that one out this problem will
  26. disappear.  I haven't registered yet.  I'm waiting to see if they can do this.
