- an FPU on a mac is a floating point unit. It is basically a math
- coprocessor. It takes the burden of performing floating decimal point
- math off of the cpu from my understanding. And although executor
- *has* a control panel, it is not a *true* control panel like on a mac. On a
- mac there is a place in your control panel to put what are called
- *extensions* which are basically what we IBM'ers call device drivers.
- The FPU emulator needs to go in your extensions folder. There isn't one
- in executor, thus the program won't work. I'm hoping that Ardi will
- release a version of executor where you can load the true System 7
- operating system. Once they figure that one out this problem will
- disappear. I haven't registered yet. I'm waiting to see if they can do this.
- I am really impressed with what they've done, though.
