  1. I'd like to ask a small question about executor under Linux:
  2.  
  3.     I love executor and I have installed on an ext2fs partition.
  4.     However, the usual backup programs one would use under Linux
  5. complain about that partition (Mac programs tend to put spaces and other
  6. strange characters in file names). GNU tar complains about Long links
  7. and skips files and cpio simply doesn't like some file names and skips
  8. some files too.
  9.  
  10.     I have come to have a lot of Mac software installed on that
  11. Linux box and I would surely like to be able to make a reliable backup
  12. of my Macintosh partition. Does anyone have any idea? I am currently
  13. thinking about devoting one of my MOD cartridges to executor, put an
  14. ext2fs filesystem on it and use "cp -R" but I don't like the idea.
  15. How do you ARDI do it? :)
