  15. Executor does not currently support extensions such as INITs (which
  16. are pieces of code that run when a Mac is booted up) or CDEVs (which
  17. are Control Panel Devices).  That means the software FPU can't work
  18. under Executor.  This will be true for Executor 2, also.
  19.  
  20. Getting some INITs and CDEVs working will be a high priority after
  21. Executor 2 ships.  The work isn't that hard, per-se, but the
  22. compatibility issues are tricky since INITs and CDEVs often do stuff
  23. that requires a greater degree of low-level compatibility than a
  24. typical application does.
