  8. "Refresh" mode is needed for compatibility with those unusual programs
  9. (mostly games) that bypass QuickDraw and directly access video
  10. hardware.  For all other programs refresh should be "0".  Executor
  11. will usually be able to automatically turn it on for you when you need
  12. it.
