  1. I recently downloaded 1.99q and the new beta (dos versions) in order to
  2. run HyperCard.  (My son uses HyperCard on his Mac at school so it would be
  3. logical to have it at home for homework.)  When I try running the 
  4. installation program for HyperCard it bombs with the following message:
  5.     Fatal Error.  Executor jumped to an uninterruted trap
  6.     handler, probably by getting the address of one of these
  7.     traps. (Oxa89f, 0xa88f, 0xa0ec, 0xa8b5, 0xa9ac, 0xa9ae)

  9. I am trying to install HyperCard 2.3.  I have seen the docs and users
  10. mention that HyperCard 2.1 works with Executor.  Would 2.3 be that much
  11. different?  The same error occurs under both 1.99q and Beta20 and on
  12. different computers.

  14. Any help would be appreciated (and a successful HyperCard install will
  15. result in a purchase of Executor!).
