  14. If you run in X windows then you can run other stuff like Netscape at the 
  15. same time.

  17. Since you have virtual memory you can run programs that require more 
  18. memory (and it will probably swap better than a real mac since mac's file 
  19. and VM systems really suck)

  21. You don't need the hfv volumes since the linux filesystem can handle long 
  22. filenames.  Plus you will find that the linux filesystem is *much* faster 
  23. than a DOS FAT system.

  25. X will be slower than SVGAlib. If your card is supported for SVGAlib then
  26. it should run about the same speed as in DOS.  If your card is supported
  27. using the UniVBE thing then it might run faster in DOS.
