  9. There are two ways to multitask: rely on the underlying OS to do it
  10. for you (this usually gives you memory protection, too) or do it under
  11. Executor.  On some platforms we already do some of the former.
  12. Executor/NEXTSTEP does this best, with Executor/Linux coming in
  13. second.  After we port to Win32 and OS/2 we'll beef up the cut and
  14. paste and file sharing capabilities of Executor so that you'll be able
  15. to do nice things on all those platforms.

  17. We're not sure when we'll look into making Executor directly
  18. multi-task.  We need to know what Apple's reaction to us is going to
  19. be and see how far we can get with the tack above.
